At my current job interview I did the panel interview being asked questions about FARs that I hadn't looked at in years, an oral reading NACO charts (thank goodeness) but about approaches that I hadn't flown in 20+ years, and an interview ride in a plane that I had only sat in for an hour!
I'm with you on breaking those 3 golden rules donk!

PS - as far as the charts - it is all the same info just presented a different way so I would imagine that you will be able to transition fairly easily. The NACO have even become more 'Jepp' like over the years.
