I'm not dogging the new guys, we were all new hires once. It just seems like a lot of the new guys here just parrot all the negative crap they read online without any real perspective to back it up. The "paycuts" are a LONG way from being passed by the pilots, or even reaching a pilot vote. My problem is not so much with the seniority based payscales themselves, but the 8 year extension to the rest of our contract, and the changing of our IAI.
As far as the jobs at AA , I won't argue that anyone hired at eagle now will have a long wait before going over (if it does work out), but what do you expect? Hopefully they'll get a quick upgrade due to all the movement, then they have their pick if they want to go somewhere else. Nobody really knows what will happen till it happens.
