I've heard its really good but this is the first I've heard it's funny. Is it like a Machado book? If so, then I'll probably not get it. Machado has some good stuff in his books, but he tries way too hard to work humor in it that I just get frustrated. His books are great for weekend GA pilots but when I was studying for my CFI/CFII/MEI I found the books far too impenetrable that I just returned them.

I've e-mail a few times with him.
He does work hard to interject humor into what is probably one of the dryness subject matters (Federal Regulations) that you could imagine. Whether it makes it harder or easier for a person to get through, or get important information out of, is probably up to theindividual; but for what I have used the book for it has been very useful.
