The MEC resolution should have read: "The Delta MEC agrees that this resolution SHALL be the directive to the negotiating committee and SHALL constitute the minimum acceptable product of Section 1 to bring forth to the members for ratification."

But that's not what they said. Not even close. Like was said earlier, who was it on the MEC that voted NO to even discuss this at the MEC level? Whoever that was should be recalled immediately. Period.
