And Northwest laughs all the way to the bank... Remember the DC-9-10s that Northwest had up until last year? They were the same size as a CRJ-900 (86-94 seats) and will do the same flying that the -10s used to do. Would it be great for the guys who have fought for Mesaba's survival (and their own jobs)? Yes. But it doesn't matter who flies 'em (Pinnacle, Mesaba, SkyWest, GoJets), aircraft the size of the 900 at ANY regional hurts us all. So forgive me if I'm not jumping for joy...
