No, it isn't with regards to this industry, but yes, I am a very lucky person in my life otherwise.

No, it is not. What I earn is in NO WAY commensurate with what I have given up and sacrificed for this job. Nor is it for thousands of others... From the time we close the main cabin door until the time we open it, yes, I enjoy the job. That is not to say that I still think that what I do during that time is neither appreciated nor compensated appropriately. It is not rewarding to me to have to trade toys with family friends in order to give my son something "new" for Christmas while our executives are agonizing over which summer home they should buy.

Those who complain about money either dont have any or dont know how to manage what they do have. I am in the first category, our illustrious executives are in the second.
