Agreed, that's what all line pilots expect, but the reality is that in the past 2 years that hasn't happened. To elect a candidate from either of the current camps represented at the MEC will likely just flip (or continue) the balance of political power and bring line pilots 2 more years of inaction.
The current MEC appears to be a microcosm of national politics where it's not about what's right, it's about who's right and neither side is willing to concede a thing. Another good deal for United Pilots.
I agree with most of this. The big problem is with "Current camps". That is what we need to eliminate. There should only be one "Camp" right now. We need to put "Who's right" aside and concentrate on "What's right".
