I have no idea who pays for what with the political campaigns. Since you are in his camp and yes I have heard some good things on him maybe you can tell me when he came back to work with ual during 1985. Hard to tell from his advertisment. Keep in mind we did have more 570 cross than just the "first" day. We also had many that played both sides of the fence for 30 days. As far as him organizing from inside the training center that might be but I never saw him. Don't remember him from dumpster days or boylesl either, but I might have missed him.
I am not much of an alpa fan anymore regardless. Some of the weakness in 1985 started this but over the years watching our Alpa brothers waiting for ch-11 and hoping other airlines would liquidate, some even signing contracts to help us liquidate kind of sours me to the alpa brotherhood.
Even have some moderators here that sound like they can't wait for amr to file and maybe break apart so they can get the pieces, yes I realize that amr is not alpa.
I also do not think that things will get settled here regardless of who is in office. The company does not want to settle anything or it would be done by now. All I keep seeing that benefit at all is high level management, our hundreds of pilot managers that never really do anything that has to do with flying an airplane, yes hundreds. Certainly our lca's are having a great time while they run there banks to well over 50 hours a month, sorry except the cal lca's who get it all paid out monthly, so I am told, our guys will be all over this when they can. Maybe 120-140 a month while deadheading around the system.
As a line pilot all we see is the same old song and dance from the union and the company, oh and some flow changes and call outs. The other change I keep seeing is some of our flying being swithed to the other side.
You think Baldwin or anyone else is going to start to change this, maybe, seems liketoo little too late from what I keep seeing.
