Sounds simple, but the fact that it's a type ride and the added pressure of the Feds watching over your shoulder and you have a recipe for a nervous pilot.
It's so much more than "just a steep turn".
Also on FO rides, I thought you were allowed to be "retrained" on certain things. My examiner was telling me that if something were to be performed below standards, he could retrain and retest right then and there. On a type ride, he was saying once you bust, the ride is over.
