My question for management is this: If the hat is so important to our image as a company then why not require all DCI companies to also wear a hat?
Maybe they use the hat rule as a "Pilot disgruntle-meter". As long as guys are beefing about hats, Management presumes that there is no serious need to address pay restoration issues.
