I've tried two different PC's and AOL, and IE....no luck. The error message I receive is DAL file cannot be downloaded to the cache using this browser.........always worked until today.

If anyone is on DBMS, would you see if you can download the DIG or any of the training aids, or even the 73 flaps 15 article ? I'm out of ideas.

Thanks,

Not sure how to help you? Are you monitoring this board?

The Flaps 15 thing is mostly a dispatch tool relating to approach climb (missed approach) climb requirements. It does not mean you have to land flaps 15. It is a consideration (ie if you are flaps 40 and a red light comes on, probably better to continue & land). In the real world you probably only want to land the 737 flaps 15 when it is pretty light. Maybe I'm odd, but I even prefer flaps 40 when heavy so we can better fit into the flow of arrival traffic and not have to use the braking at the equivalent of 3 or more and max reverse to make the last high speed. The 737 does not stop as well as the 757/767 (half the friction surface) and lands a bit faster (like 20 knots).

The -700 stops better than the -800. When Southwest gets the -800 Boeing needs to include shovels, ramps, a four wheeler and a tow bar. When Delta gets the -900, they should include that kit for us. (only joking)
