Where are all the planes from LGA going? Ask the regionals - that's who's flying many of those routes. Of course they'll pick up some out of DCA, but like you said, not all.
I'm sure most of the us air flying will shift to DCA, PHL, CLT since a lot of the same markets can easily be reached. The XJ Saab flying out of LGA is going to stop in December anyway, so that will leave cut off... I don't know.... maybe a little more than a quarter, as for the rest of the flights, we shall see. I sure there will be a reduction somewhere. Plus, most of the flying out of LGA was short-hop flights with little in the way of international connections, so its not as big of a loss as one might think. I do know that ZW will be closing the LGA base as a result with no plans (so far made known to employees) of opening another base else where.
