Hopefully I speak for the majority when I say how disappointed I am with the company. I realize we are in a state of change, and that the leadership of old is partly responsible for the shortcomings of the present. But that just doesn't cut it. I'm tired of poor communication or an empty, often too late "sorry." "We don't have the manpower, staffing, infrastructure, automation etc." is really no excuse. Late bids, late awards, late vacancies cannot continue to be the norm. And as this type of incompetence is continually expected, the outcome really never change. The company, and more specifically the pilot group, is losing out on opportunity after opportunity, specifically new flying aircraft and new flying, because we have been mismanaged for years. This type of behavior is not tolerated on the line as our a**es are on the line each and everyday, dealing with our less than perfect and poorly trained SOC, but with management it is acceptable? Save your pizza parties and show us leadership, all the while understanding that leadership and management are two very different concepts. "Do as I say, not as I do" will not be accepted anymore.
