2) I too, am curious, why so many folks like to "talk down to" the guys flying the CRJs. It seems like regardless of background, we're all lesser pilots (especially those who never flew a turboprop)...
I don't wear my epaulets funny, I don't think prop guys are worse OR better, they're just pilots like I am. I do well with what I've been given, and hope that if I were awarded a different aircraft (regardless of its propulsion), I would pass with a lot of breathing room. I have the same desire for anyone else in training - I hope everyone passes the training and can fly the crap out of the aircraft they're assigned.
