Im assuming base FO refers to a newhire, in which case $90,000 would be a pay raise. (Currently newhire pay is $50,000/yr.)

Top FO rates are about about 7,200 euros ($120,000/yr.)

I'm not 100% if base and top FO is the same as junior and senior, so correct me if I'm wrong here.

It also says that these figures are after tax, so our real dollar amount would need to be even higher to achieve the same compensation.

I can see that it is not exactly an apples to oranges comparison given that cost of living and tax obligations are much higher, but even with taking that into consideration it appears that we are grossly underpaid in comparison to our European counterparts.
