So if they do get released are you going to walk with them, and support them, or continue to fly your airbus on the struck work routes? ie, the 190 routes. I am thinking the latter! This is a win/win for the F9 guys as well, but you don't see it that way. Looking at the last quarter results, they supported your airline. Be mad all you want, keep making the deals, see where it gets you guys. From other readings the IBT guys reached out to you about these deals and you are too good to listen to the ones that have played the game with BB and WH. They have been dealing with for years, and know the game. Turn a profit and lets talk then. better yet, they should keep you separate like you want, make you pay your own bills, no outside help from the regional, as you are calling it, and see where you stand in 4 months. sounds to me from all these readings and postings, you need to get your resume out!
You shouldn't base your opinion on "these readings".

The IBT has never reached out to anyone.

The IBT believes that the needs of the majority (native RAH pilots) are more important than the needs of the minority (Frontier pilots). Unfortunately, they wanted to "represent" all 3000 RAH pilots, and that is now their "duty". They are not meeting their legal requirement.

I keep hearing about a backdoor deal. The IBT's definition of a backdoor deal is an LOA, negotiated by FAPA while they were still the designated bargaining agent for the Frontier pilots, that gives Republic and Frontier the best chance at survival. Here is the catch, for Frontier to survive, it will need a third party to enter the fray and assume some of the risk. This is a horrible idea according to the IBT, as it may eliminate their chance at the windfall known as the Eischen award.

The IBT is so worried about losing their windfall, they have sued to overturn the LOA. If they succeed, it could result in the end of Frontier as the GECAS lease concessions, the Airbus deal, and the other employee agreements were all conditional. Frontier shutting down, accompanied by the loss of over 5000 jobs, is an acceptable risk to take, as the IBT will not be losing any of their jobs. If the IBT can't have it, then nobody will have it, this is the IBT way of conducting business.

The IBT is so worried about losing their windfall, they are attempting to sneak under the seven year airbus fence.

The bottom line is this.

The native RAH pilot union is doing everything possible to take something at the expense of another pilot group. This has been the case since day one with the IBT. They never attempted to negotiate during the SLI, as they had nothing to lose and everything to gain. They never attempted to negotiate a representation structure that works at a holding company with two active CBA's, as they had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Now they threaten the very existence of Frontier airlines, with no concern about our careers.

This is exactly why only 13 pilots out of 700 have joined the IBT. This will be a divided group until we separate or go out of business. If it is the latter, the IBT is going to be on the hook for an incredible DFR lawsuit.
