I will say as a current Comair pilot my life has been made worse even though I wasn't even hired prior to Comair's infamous strike. I have felt the backlash from that in more ways then one. Might explain why our fleet has steadily been downsized over the years and why Delta pilot's wont even look us in the eye.

From my observation, Comair went on strike and none of the other regionals really stood by Comair other then the "we support you" talk. Really most of them undercut Comair and the cycle has continued since. Not blaming any specific airline. All of them have done it.

So my point is.....whats the point! I have no use for our union and I would love to have a dues refund to use for more useful things. I pay my ALPA dues basically to not bother me. Couldn't even tell you my ALPA #.

So be careful what you wish for!!!!
