I think some pilots do indeed believe DAL Post Chapter 11 > SWA in pay. Maybe they're the same ones who believe an EMB-175 is an Airbus and they don't fill out surveys, never heard of the DPA and would vote however the MEC said even if the MEC said there were literally guns pointed at them so they recommend a vote yes but 90% of the airline would be furloughed. They'd vote yes.
The participants and even the lurkers on this webboard are all comparatively well informed.
I think we would all be
stunned at just how many Delta pilots could not answer a few what we would consider very simple questions covering the basic fundamentals of our contract, scope, payrates and work rules.
Its sad, but trust me, a lot more than "some" pilots are unaware that SWA pilots make more money.
