If seniority were considered in the reserve system, instead of RAW value, wouldn't the more junior folks be getting a worse deal than we have already? If the systems were separated, at least the junior guys would have the opportunity to have a little seniority within the reserve system. Not necessarily or in my experience. It allowed commuters to fly vice sit in a hotel room and when I was junior in base, it allowed me to fill up and be done for the month. As a junior bubba, got many xmasses & t-days off using this method.
