Thanks for summing it all up in one post man, and for the record, I doubt we'll be "very happy once we get over there" as we know full well that we'll be treated like second class citizens. It's already started. Don't think we haven't been noticing the lack of LUV around the concourses and jumpseats.

Don't worry. We'll have some new lanyards out to replace the "ONE LUV" ones. Start looking for the "SHOVE THE LUV" lanyards coming to a red-headed stepchild's neck soon.
Whack, I feel for you. You don't like this merger and feel powerless to stop it, I feel exactly the same way. You have stated publicly that if you could halt it all and return to the status quo before September 27th 2010 and both maintain completely separate operations with no merger of any sorts, that is what you would like. I am right there with you on that. However, you are the only AT pilot I have heard that from. Maybe I have missed it from the others and they all feel that way, but you are the only one I can remember expressing those sentiments publicly. Every AT pilot I have posed that question to ( I admit that has only been 7 or 8) have stated they want to get this deal done and move forward. They feel that the benefits outweigh the negatives. I think you will be pleasantly surprised that you will not be treated as a second class citizen unless you have an attitude that merits such treatment.
