I flew with a Captain that has over 20,000 hrs worth of experience. We were instructed to taxi a specific route to the ramp, he went to enter the wrong taxiway, I brought it to his attention and before I could get to the brakes he said, we are going this way and almost hit another aircraft. Ground yelled at us since we cut in front of another airplane (the one we almost hit) because the 20,000 hr Captain decided to do whatever he wanted and not following the instructions we were given. I couldn't even fill a NASA report because the crew didn't make a mistake, the crew intentionally utilized the wrong taxi route and put an aircraft as well as the people on board at jeopardy of a collision.

What's your point about it not being worth it?
