You do realize that Delta's minimums are only 1200 total and 1000 turbine (including SIC). Through this program, as long as an individual meets these mins, they can get a guaranteed interview, while those who have applied for 2+ years with 4-5k+ hours get nothing. Even on reserve at ASA, getting a 1000 turbine probably can't take more than 1.5 to 2 yrs.
delta isnt going to hire someone with 1200tt so they can publish whatever they want. They're just using it as a ploy to get people into the program. After the retirements start up and the wave is in full force then its possible they'll take people with lower time but it wont be anytime in the near future.
