There have been a lot of move up date possibilities. If you watch your e-mails after you receive a class date, you can move up considerably. I was told that I would be in the Dec 27th class and am now in the Nov 15th class.
Also, if you want to jockey backwards in dates, CN has been very accomodating.

FWIW, I'm in the 1/24 class and CN made it clear that moving back was only an option with a verified need. In her words:
"the bar has been raised to allow for the adjustments to later classes to a documentable reason, being it military obligation, financial contract, something other than, just to improve seniority for bidding aircraft and base. It created some challenges for earlier classes."
