Dwane - Lately (the last year), the norm is to notify people they've completed Phase 2 around the time of your checkride/beginning of IOE. So it's probably best not to hold out too much hope of hearing anything until that time. Might come sooner, I just wouldn't expect it to.
I am looking at EMBFlyer's case where he has nothing in his closet..... I am thinking I am going to ask them to complete Phase 2 before starting class myself. I have a squeaky clean background as well, I'm just paranoid something comes back as an issue (like incomplete) to someone on the committee and they say no thanks after I quit my current job. I have extensive international experience and I know of one job that will come back as incomplete because they went out of business. Would you suggest waiting for the all clear as well? My instincts are telling me to not leave a good job with a baby at home if they are not 100% committed to me until Phase 2 is complete.
