Well, if that's the case...then why am I in the class I was awarded? I could have held the first, if not, definitely the second class. All of the guys in the same base as me were held to a certain class and no earlier on the award...at least where I was coming from.
Sounds like you were Boston. I'm guessing you were held to staff the base til it closes since there will be no backfilling you need to stay til the end.
