If you mention it to the individual, and he/she refuses to call in sick "hey man, I'll be fine", would YOU, as CA, allow that flight to operate? If you have prior knowledge in a crew environment, you are culpable too. I'd say certificate revocation and jail time for aiding and abetting a felon.
