A simple easy way to look at it is you knew you were going to die tomorrow how much life insurance would you get? While life insurance is a tough buy it is a critical part of any financial plan.
This was the kicker for me. After floating along fat, dumb, and happy for years, one day I woke up and looked at my wife and two boys and instead of feeling the warm fuzzy I was used to I got the "Holy Poo, What if..." shakes. I'm a really healthy guy (gym twice a week, run 30 miles a week, borderline obnoxious when it comes to food, etc, etc), so I think I can do better than Delta's blanket coverage.

So, anyone in the mulitple kids one wife (or general sole provider) bucket, I'm curious about what kind of coverage you think is adequate and where you get it.

PMs welcome.
