I only ask because I think that will make a big difference in the outcome of said DPA vote.
The truth is that a DPA vote won't change the outcome of this Section 6 once the openers are exchanged. Since DALPA has already stated that we will not even see a summary of our opening position, we wont know approximately what it was until we all see the TA. Even if we vote NO on the TA, then immediately vote in the DPA, the best we could ever do would be our opening position...regardless of who the bargaining agent is.
If we don't vote DPA in prior to the exchange of openers in April, our futures will hinge on how strong that opener is...the opener that no member will get to see. After openers are exchanged, DPA will only be able to influence the NEXT contract.
