In the past, when I jumpseated, I'd call the airlines' 800 number and when the reservation person came on the line, I'd tell them I was a crewmember with FedEx and was interested in jumping of such and such a flight, and would they mind giving me an idea of the loads. Usually, they would accommodate me. Very rarely (usually when they were really busy), they would ask that I call their pilot line.
