Especially since most folks are former CFI's. The pay goes up with your experience. Till you get some experience doing something you have never done before, it's called paying your dues. And yes you may think you have it figured out, but since most folks have never flown 121, there will be a lot to learn. I wish you luck, but if you get hired, come in with a good attitude, and be willing to learn. You will go from being a CFI to a student all over again.
Yes, totally agree with you there. I have to start somewhere, and I know I have EVERYTHING to learn! I will be leaving an IT engineering career for something totally new to me, so yes I am ready and eager to learn! My point is the entry level for such a job is too low! Thanks for wishing me luck, we always need some! And BTW, thanks for not calling me crazy!
