Well said!
As I've said, commuters provide them marketing flexibility. The company can't have it both ways, helping out commuters is just the price of flexibility.

Thanks Ferd.
As a now-involuntary commuter, I and MANY others don't need a lot of cushy ATL-like perks (No TSA 'Love Rubs' or luggage lift-and-screen' speed bumps, among others.

), on our way to our chosen profession, but having reasonable, capable aircraft between our home airport and domicile airport would not only help us, the commuters, but also open markets and attract passengers from some of the other airlines we compete against. Also, by providing the lift from out-station to hub, DAL will have a better handle on crews making their trips. As is...? And we ain't getting younger...I'm just sayin'.
(P.S. 'No Pity for the Kitty!')
