Thanks for the reply. I'll be flying out of SAN, and it looks like it's only AA doing SAN-DFW on MD-80s. I have looked at the flights on the non rev planner but I'm not sure how to check if anybody else is able to jumpseat. Haven't looked too deeply at other 2 leg options but that may be a better choice, thanks for the tip.
