One of the first times I commuted on an AA flight, going home after a trip. Of course flight is completely full and overhead storage space is non existent. Introduce myself to the flight crew, small talk a bit then the FO volunteers to show me down to the place where the crew keeps their bags on the MD80. Then, says when we land in ORD, he'll go down and get it for me and just leave it on the jet bridge. All without me even asking. Excellent pair of human beings right there.
