Default according my log book

hello..
my name is Moh'd and I'm from Bahrain..
i have a problem regarding my log book.. I'm an A320 first officer working in a small airline.. the thing is i need to stamp my loog book but they are refusing to stamp it for me.. they say i have to resign first and finish my 3 months notice then they will stamp it after my last working day! and on this case i cant even apply for other companies because i can't prove that i have hours! so i have to resign and finish the 3 months then set at home and start applying for other companies..
i just want to know is this even legal? isn't stamping my log book is one of my rights?
is there any thing i can read from IATA or ICAO or any where regarding this issue?
if any one can help ill appreciate it really.
thank you very much.
