The article said that $250,000 of the total fine would be going to the passengers in the way of refunds, compensation, free flights, etc...
You think the total fine ($900,000) should be split among the inconvenienced passengers?
The airport general fund is exactly where a majority of that money should go. Airport safety initiatives, EMAS installed, newer lighting systems, etc...imo.
