Everyone hates a base closure. Especially when they are keeping the FA base and just shifting the cost of NYC lodging to junior pilots.

My explanation as to how the bid window got expanded remains the same, or at least that's the story among the bottom management types.

In the past Delta has carried a few extra in category over and no displaced as many as initially published. ACL tells me it is unlikely in this bid, but we can always hope.
