Yes it runs 24 hrs, but I think I'm the only one doing this. Take bus or walk to Subway. Get on E train to the World Trade Center. Walk two blocks to the Path train and take it to Newark Penn Station. Get on local Bus to Newark Liberty Airport. Takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Cost $5.75 (also meet all kinds of folks that still don't fly).
Other wise, Flt Att golden touch, but they do not have to let you on, apparently the flight attendants can refuse to let you ride even if there are seats. That time of day a cab is probably over a hundred bucks.
Another solution for Delta would be to pay for cabs to/from? EWR.
Another suggestion for co-terminal airports would be for you to be able to specify the dept/arrival terminal for DH legs.
I don't recommend pilots using the Flight attendant Crew Runner anymore. There have been a couple of NYC pilots turned in recently for using it. It is for IFS only according to the rules, so be forewarned you could face a carpet dance if there is even 1 pi$$ed off FA who sees you riding and feels like making an issue....
