At what point in the training do you usually find out where you will be based?
Usually the last week of ground school. Unfortunately the way things are nowadays- I've heard people get out of FTDs and still have no clue. But you can plan on EWR initially, then IAH within a month or two.
I was one of the lucky ones that got CLE- ugh. Try commuting that from SFO.
