TSA and Gojet might not be the same company, but it sure is run by the same people, so unless you accept another sub-par contract, they will drag your negotiations on for years. Just look at how long it took TSA.
they're concerned with employee retention. a large percentage of the pilot group have a UAL seniority number. that issue, combined with nearly 50% growth leads me to believe the TSA experience will not repeat itself on the other side of the building.
as i said before, it's a rumor. i agree with you though; a pay raise and improved work-rules in exchange for nothing isn't a realistic expectation.
