I second this^

The Hunt bags ( used to be Coyote Works) are made locally in Houston by an XJT pilot. When I ordered mine last year I went by and picked it up from his shop, he was just around the corner from where I lived. This guy is a true craftsman and uses great material to construct your bags. I felt even better about my purchase after seeing the materials and skill that went into making it. The skidplates are a must and great. Everytime I hear my bag scrape I know I have those plates down there.

I can understand a new FO being cautious about dropping that kind of money on 1st year pay (I waited for upgrade for mine) but if you are in the market for a great bag, this is the one. I also like the idea of supporting a fellow pilot in his small business.
