Had a FEDEX guy in the jumpseat today. He just got hired this summer but based in ANC on the MD-11. $60/hr first year pay jumps to $150/hr for 2nd-5th year. Capt got upset because a 2nd yr wide body FO gets paid more than a 14yr narrow body Capt. Plus he said the retirement numbers next year are significant and that FedEx will be hiring so all you disgruntled people(only if you're senior to me) can go apply there!
