All bases are ORD friendly. I was based in TYS for almost 3 years (by choice) and I would commute through ORD with 100% of the flight being RJs and rarely had issues.
That's great to hear. Did you commute while on reserve, and did you use a crash pad or just get a hotel? Since it's an outstation I'm sure there are many early, early shows and late finishes...
