Actually under Bond/Mc the integration of the Seniority List must be fair and there is recent Federal Appeals Court precedent that proves this. However there is a very important part of Bond/Mac that says your union SLI merger policy takes precedence and if you and your union agree to the SLI then you are stuck with it (I.E. AirTran). This is why SWA management threatened separate ops and terminating the AAI guys, they knew the outcome of Arbitration would not have been as favorable for SWA and the SLI would have been tied up in the courts for years.
