Does anyone know the ins and outs of the "New" changes that went through effective Oct 1? Like can I take the 10K alloted for "vocational" training every year and get a rating at the local part 61 FBO? Or does the flight school still need to be VA accredited? Thanks/
Has to be a 141 school with a VA program. Now that isn't to say there aren't ways around it. For instance I am getting ready to start a 141 program for commercial. My intention is to rack up the hours and then do my check ride under 61 that way I can use the rest of the money for another rating rather than burning it all up on on 141 class.
