No dog in this fight, and I'm relatively new to the Boeing game (since the 80's), but the FLUF has been the FLUF at least since I've been around them. I've heard guppy for the classics and 2-holer or football from some WAL/UAL guys, but everyone called it the FLUF.
I'm pretty sure T-square has a bunch of time as Captain on the FLUF, and he has occasionally pined for the memory of his MCO base. I don't believe that was an intended insult.
