My impression is Randy Babbitt was a better FAA Administrator than most, who are typically clueless political appointees. I don't know the man personally, but I find his arrest for DUI sad.
I don't find humor or joy in his misfortune....
A DUI is not a "misfortune". It is reckless endangerment that has real potential to KILL PEOPLE. No.. it is not a misfortune, and unfortunately it is an under prosecuted crime. He might be a good guy and all, but he crossed a line. there is nothing sad about it.
