How about preventing the flow-throughs to Delta from switching aircraft? Not only would this reduce training costs, but it would probably "encourage" them to do this sooner rather than later. Thus requiring us to hire new pilots, who are at a lower pay rate?
I don't think you understand how the flow through works. Delta has to be hiring for them to flow. Delta is not hiring so they cannot leave through the flow.
You also need to take a look at where these flow guys are on the list. They are senior. The only ones moving are getting displaced off the Saabs.
