guys if it increases to 65 then it increases for everyone. there is no set back in when you upgrade, lets say you are 40 now and you were going to upgrade today. you would have been a captain for 20 years to age 60.

ok now you have to wait 5 years for someone to retire. so you upgrade at 45 and retire 20 years later at 65. you will still be a captain for 20 years. no difference. so if all you are worried about is upgrade times and crap like that then just do the math. now, as far as it being a good idea or not,, that is an entirely different issue.
