not too long ago, you were considering making the switch, until one of your buddies 'opened your eyes'. make sure you send that guy a bottle of single malt for steering you in the right direction. if he's got any portfolio advice, send it my way.
gojet may leave a lot to be desired, but trans states does as well. the performance is typically horrible, the pilots are miserable, captains have been downgraded, FO's hired in 2007/8 are still on reserve, and some are on their way to a second furlough at what was supposed to be an entry level 121 job. i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that gojet is probably a more pleasant place to work, despite the union's failure to effectively lead.
be a man and stop being so emotional with your decisions. you might be happier.
Bernouli,
You sound like a level head individual. You have pointed out that Gojet and trans states have a lot to be desired. You commented on the Union failure etc...it sounds like you are singing the same song we are singing. So the big question for the day is.
What are you guys doing to make sure you change the negative, untrue and factually incorrect information about your company?
What is the game plan to make Gojet a better quality product then it is? Am not saying make it number 1, just superior.
Besides the three people that always post negative comment have you ever talked to a TSA pilot or even say hi to one at the airport about the future of both regionals and how we could work together for the future of the industry.
I agree Gojet may be a more pleasant place to work, but you it can change anytime. Ask a Comair pilot.
Anyways, I have to say I am proud some Gojet pilots are now open and at least try to defend the company in public. My babies are growing up
