Nah. A few of us have done initial training thing before, and can do just fine with or without spending time with the roomie 24/7.

I was going back and forth about having a roommate for training at SkyWest, and in the end my cheapness won out and I shared a room. Fortunately my roommate was a cool and considerate guy, so it worked out. But I study MUCH better by myself, and tended towards that most of the time even with my roommate.

There were a couple of people in my class that did not have roommates, and they did just fine.
